Step 3: Learn about different medications to treat OUD

In this module, you will learn to:

  • To identify what effective treatment approaches exist for OUD.
  • To demonstrate applicable knowledge of MOUD when working with individuals on community supervision, including specific MOUD options and how they compare to one another.
  • To discuss the stigma related to MOUD use for individuals on community supervision.
  • To express the importance of choice for individuals on community supervision related to MOUD.

Brief Communication for Staff about MOUD
This handout is designed for probation officers and community providers to use in their day-to-day operations as a reference to understand MOUD.
